Up Next plays walk-up music and announcer audio for youth baseball and softball teams. By creating an account or using the app you accept these terms.
Up Next accounts are for adults. You must be at least 18 to create one. Children don't get accounts and must not use one.
By adding or changing information about a player, you confirm that you are that player's parent or legal guardian, or that you are otherwise authorised to manage their information — for example as their coach, under your league's own arrangements with families.
You're responsible for:
Don't upload a photo of a child you aren't authorised to photograph or share. If a parent or guardian asks you to remove something, remove it.
When you invite someone you're giving a real person access to real children's information:
Check the email address before you send it. An invitation goes to whoever controls that address. You can cancel an unaccepted invitation, and remove anyone's access, at any time.
Up Next has these roles so you don't have to share your login. Keep your sign-in secure; you're responsible for what happens under your account.
Apple Music tracks play through Apple's own player using your Apple Music subscription on your device. We don't supply, store, copy or transmit Apple Music audio. If you're not a subscriber, Apple Music tracks won't play — free previews and your own audio files still work.
You start playback; the app doesn't begin playing an Apple Music track by itself. If you import your own audio, you confirm you have the right to use and play it.
Playing recorded music publicly at a game may require licenses — usually held by the venue, the league, or whoever runs the event. That isn't something Up Next provides or arranges. Check with whoever runs your field or league, and make sure your use complies with the terms of the music services you're using.
The app can generate announcer audio saying a player's name using a third-party AI voice service, and you can record your own voice instead.
Record only an adult's voice. Don't record a child saying their own name.
Don't:
We can suspend or remove accounts that break these terms. Where a child's safety is involved we'll act immediately and without notice.
You can delete a photo, a player, a team, or your entire account from inside the app (Account → Delete my account). Deleting your account removes the teams you own, their players, and all of their photos and recordings, and removes the access of anyone you invited. It can't be undone.
Deleting your account doesn't remove teams someone else owns and invited you to — you simply leave those.
We may change, add or remove features. The app depends on services we don't control — Apple Music, third-party voice generation, and your network — so we can't promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, in which case they apply only as far as the law allows.
We'll post changes here and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the app means you accept them.
